The Moravian Gate is a long valley, through the middle of which run rivers with the mountains arching over them. It has always been an important migration corridor for a number of animal species, both now and in the past. It is also a landscape where many cultures meet, as well as a place where numerous scientists started their journey towards knowledge. This trail takes visitors through places of natural interest, through the history of their research and also through the lives of the scholars associated with this region. Length by car – 56 km (2 hours). By bike – 41 km – 3 hours (one afternoon).
